At NAAFI, we're committed to making life better for our Armed Forces communities.
We work closely with the Ministry of Defence to ensure that all the money we make is used to support our troops. This means investing in the places where our stores are located and providing financial help directly to the units that need it most.
The NAAFI Fund
The NAAFI Fund was started in 2020 with the goal of giving at least £10 million back to our Armed Forces units over ten years. This money is used to help units improve the lives of their people.
Any unit can apply for a grant from the NAAFI Fund to support projects that will make things better for the people in their community. So far, we've given out over £3.5 million in grants.
"Access to equipment like this, funded by the NAAFI is an organisation enhancer allowing not only sporting activity to take place but also offering the opportunity to gain a RYA or British Canoeing qualification. This will enhance the skills of our future leaders, not only within the URNU but the wider reserve organisation."
"The NAAFI Funds' contribution to MOD Corsham's Community Centre has delivered a genuinely positive impact to the service community; this cannot be overstated. The soft play area is in constant use and means the Community Centre has something to offer absolutely everybody."
"With NAAFIs help we have filled an unused space with greenery, shrubbery and furniture. The lived experience is important ensuring our personnel are looked after. I would like to thank NAAFI for their very kind donation."
"By receiving the NAAFI funding this has massively improved the social aspect of the JNCO’s within the Company, by providing a large comfortable space full of amenities."
